Tingen

Tingen is an important industrial city within the Loen Kingdom, famous for its constantly busy harbor and its thriving manufacturing and commercial industries.

It is also known as the 'City of Universities,' housing both Tingen University and Khoy University, as well as numerous technical schools, law colleges, and economics institutes. It ranks second only to Backlund in the number of higher education institutions.

Because it lies farther inland than the coastal regions, the Church of the Evernight Goddess holds greater influence here than the Church of the Lord of Storms.

Tingen is located within Awwa County. Two major rivers flow through the city: the Khoy River, which descends from the York Mountains and passes through the university district in East Borough, and the Tussock River, which merges with the Khoy within the city.

Situated in the northern part of the Loen Kingdom, Tingen enjoys a relatively mild climate. Annual temperatures rarely exceed 30°C, and the mornings are generally cool.
